Main Duties:
1. To keep the following areas of the site clean and tidy:
i. Forecourt and all parking areas
ii. Boiler house and Sharples Hall
iii. Dustbin area
iv. Internal windows
v. Lights and light shades
2. To check the following on the site, repairing/replacing where possible:
i. Light bulbs and tubes
ii. Cleaning of carpets
iii. Furniture and equipment
3. To undertake routine maintenance and repairs work to the fabric of the buildings and the Organisation’s other sites as required.
4. To assist the domestic staff at the Princess Alexandra Home when required e.g. heavy work, furniture movement, staff shortages etc.
5. To set up Sharples Hall and the Boardroom for any Conference Bookings and other meetings/events and to clear up on completion.
6. To drive the organisation’s vehicle to collect goods that require delivery to the organisations charity shops.
7. To carry out duties and respond as required in connection with any Quality System in place [e.g. IIP, ISO 9001:2015] including various weekly/monthly periodic checks.
8. To carry out other associated duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by the duty manager.
To maintain harmonious working relationships with residents, staff and colleagues.
