Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on hair care.
- Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
- Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon profitability.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and beauty treatments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable but not essential.
- A valid hairdressing qualification or certification is required./ or beauty .
