This is a rewarding, customer-facing role where you’ll support both the wellbeing of our four-legged guests and the peace of mind of their humans.
About the Role
As a Guest Services Assistant, you’ll be the friendly, professional face of Royvon — helping customers feel welcome and confident in the care we provide. You’ll work closely with both dogs and their owners to ensure every visit is smooth, positive, and personalised. It’s active, structured work that requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a love of dogs.
This role begins as a 2-month temporary contract, with a strong likelihood of progressing into a permanent full-time position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to dogs and their owners at check-in
- Safely escort dogs to and from their accommodation
- Share confident, friendly updates with owners at pick-up (e.g. how their dog settled, eating, enrichment)
Guest Belongings
- Log all items (leads, beds, toys, medications) on arrival
- Ensure owners receive all belongings back on departure
Feeding & Dietary Care
- Prepare meals following individual feeding instructions exactly
- Deliver meals calmly and directly in each guest's accommodation
- Record eating behaviour and escalate any concerns
Enrichment & Wellbeing Support
- Deliver tailored enrichment: play, scent games, calm time
- Adjust sessions based on guest needs and team priorities
- Record high-quality notes and reports using AI-enhanced tools
- Support the care team in delivering individualised attention throughout each guest’s stay
Guest Records & Communication
- Keep accurate, up-to-date digital records
- Follow structured procedures for check-in/out and welfare documentation
- Share timely, reassuring updates with owners through our internal systems
Hygiene & Facility Support
- While this role does not involve kennel cleaning, you will help maintain calm, clean public spaces
- Ensure all shared areas are welcoming and safe for dogs and owners
About You

- Genuinely love dogs and enjoy caring for them hands-on
- Are confident, calm, and respectful with all breeds and sizes
- Are physically fit and happy to work in all weathers
- Communicate clearly with both people and pups
- Are reliable, organised, and detail-focused
- Are comfortable using technology for record-keeping and communication
- Have experience in animal care, guest services, or hospitality (ideal but not essential — full training provided)
