Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
- Operate hand tools and machinery as required, ensuring all equipment is used safely and effectively.
- Dig trenches and lay foundations for various structures, adhering to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards work.
