Are you a talented Graphic Designer ready to cook up something special? We're a leading food manufacturing group, and we're looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our in-house design and marketing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. The role is office based at our studio in Kirkconnel, with occasional travel to our other Group sites. Salary will be dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview.
Role Purpose
As a member of our creative team, you'll help drive the design process from concept to completion. You'll collaborate directly with different departments on their daily creative needs, from creating new brands, packaging design, producing digital content for our social channels, printed marketing materials, presentations and much more.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop designs for both digital and print media using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
● Create a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, social media graphics, and product packaging.
● Collaborate with teams to understand project goals and ensure all designs align with our brand identities.
● Manage project deadlines, brand assets, and creative resources like stock photography.
● Liaise with external printers to ensure high-quality production.
● Participate in team meetings and creative brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
● A degree or HND in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
● A creative portfolio that demonstrates a passion for design and a solid understanding of design principles.
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Experience or an interest in photography, motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
● Illustration skills are not necessarily a key part of the role but would be advantageous.
● Enthusiastic and driven to constantly improve your creative skills.
● Communication & Collaboration: You're a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
● Adaptability & Time Management: You're flexible and can effectively manage your time to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
