Heritage is for everybody, and we are here for heritage.

Heritage lives in places and people, memories and stories, artefacts and traditions. It can connect us all to the past, and to each other. It can make us happier, strengthen every community, and help shape society for the better. Everybody should be able to enjoy the benefits it brings.

That`s why, as a charity, we care for over a million objects and hundreds of historic sites in every part of England, from international icons to local treasures. And it`s why we open them up, share their stories and find new ways for everybody to enjoy, learn, play and create.

We are looking for a Grants & Trusts Officer to join our team. The role is full-time and permanent. You`ll be on a permanent/fixed term, full time basis, working 36 hours per week.

The Benefits

Grants play a crucial role at English Heritage. The post-holder will be responsible for high quality grants planning, administration and reporting to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council England, Historic England and other statutory and private grant-making bodies, ensuring robust and accurate internal and external stakeholder stewardship.

The Grants & Trusts Officer will be responsible for updating and aligning processes and templates to streamline the grant planning and management process. The successful candidate will be confident working with internal and external stakeholders to source necessary data and ensure integration with other departments` information management and reporting procedures.

You will be self-motivated and capable of using your own initiative to achieve agreed goals. You will also have exceptional attention to detail and be confident managing data, working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and coordinating multiple projects.

The Fundraising Department work collaboratively acting as ambassadors for the wider charity
