Job Overview

Macrobond is looking for a motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Product Specialist team—a central, high-impact team that sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Marketing.

Our Product Specialists are workflow and financial market experts. They bring together deep macroeconomic and financial knowledge, a strong understanding of client workflows, and in-depth product expertise.

This is a technical, client-facing, and commercially focused role. The team plays a critical role in driving revenue—supporting sales in closing new opportunities with both existing clients and new prospects. Working across departments, Product Specialists act as trusted advisors to our customers and internal teams alike.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding, client focused environment.

About the Graduate Role

This is a development opportunity tailored for a recent graduate who is curious, driven, and eager to grow into a full Product Specialist role.

You’ll start by supporting our customer-facing teams, learning about Macrobond’s platform, datasets, and client use cases. Over time, you'll take on more responsibility—contributing to client meetings, delivering technical demonstrations, and advising on advanced workflows.

This role offers:

  • A structured learning environment
  • Mentorship from experienced team members
  • Cross-functional exposure to Sales, Product, and Customer Success
  • The chance to make a real impact early in your career

Job Responsibilities:

In the early stages of the role:

  • Support senior Product Specialists in preparing and delivering product demos.
  • Assist Account Executives and Customer Success Managers with client/prospect queries and internal documentation.
  • Participate in structured training sessions to gain a deep understanding of Macrobond’s platform and data.
  • Help collect, organize, and communicate client feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to webinars, workshops, and marketing initiatives under guidance.

As you develop in the role:

  • Deliver product demos and training sessions more independently.
  • Lead and manage client trials to ensure value is clearly demonstrated.
  • Provide support on technical topics such as data architecture and API usage (full training provided).
  • Collaborate with the Conversion Team to scope client-specific projects.
  • Partner with internal teams to analyze client needs and deliver tailored product solutions.

Required Qualifications and experience:

  • A recent graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Genuinely interested in technology, data, and the financial markets.
  • Eager to learn and thrive in a client-facing, technically involved role.
  • A strong communicator with good presentation skills.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented—basic knowledge of Python, R, or another scripting language is a plus (especially for our Web API offering).
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solution focused.

What do we offer:

  • Structured learning and mentorship program.
  • A clear career path into a full Product Specialist role.
  • Opportunity to work with a dynamic, cross-functional team.
  • Exposure to leading financial datasets and innovative tools.
  • A collaborative environment where your input helps shape the product.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary
  • Private medical insurance, inclusive of dental, vision, and hearing
  • Life insurance
  • Company pension scheme, with a strong employer contribution
  • Gym discounts
  • Dragon pass “airport lounge” membership
  • 25 days holiday per annum
  • 2 Macrobond days to use per annum for volunteering
