We're seeking a skilled and experienced glass operative to join our manufacturing team in Derby. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong background in glass we want to hear from you.
Key Qualities Preferred But Not Essential:
- Manufacturing Glass Units: Producing high quality insulated glass units (IGU's) to specification.
- Cutting Spacer Bar: Precisely cutting and preparing spacer bars for IGU assembly.
- Sealing (Hotmelt): Expertly applying hotmelt sealant to ensure durable airtight units.
- Lead Work: Applying decorative lead designs to glass as required.
- Georgian Bar: Precisely cutting and preparing grids for IGU assembly.
- Glass Cutting: Safely and precisely cutting glass to various sizes and shapes.
