Job title: General Maintenance
Job location: Camel Creek Adventure Park
Working hours and schedule: permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week between Monday to Sunday (including weekends and holidays)
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
Salary: £25,400 – £28,000 gross per year
Holiday: 31 days per year
Job overview
The maintenance team are operational all year round and responsible for conducting daily, weekly and scheduled maintenance checks both in the park and on the glamping and camping site.
The role holder will need to be flexible in approach, understand general maintenance and be willing to work within a small team both on small, medium and large projects and regular park maintenance.
Role and responsibilities:
- conduct regular ride safety checks and escalate significant issues
- perform weekly maintenance schedules and assist with complex strip down and rebuilds during periods when the park is closed to the public
- monitor and record utility and accommodation checks
- complete general repairs, painting, water quality and hot tub checks
- perform standard cleaning activities to maintain the park’s appearance
- assist with ride breakdowns

Skills, experience & qualifications - desirable:
- working with wood; cladding, fencing, bench making
- certification to use the following – digger, dumper, cherry picker
- an understanding of health and safety regulations
Additional duties, within the competence of the post-holder, may be requested at times to ensure business continuity.
