Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction and maintenance projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Maintain an organised work area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the assembly and disassembly of structures, scaffolding, or other installations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
