Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising work areas
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
- Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety protocols
- Report any issues or hazards to management promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with construction or manual handling techniques is preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills
- Own transport to get to and from sites
- Own tools is also advantageous but not essential
Monday to Friday, working hours between 07:00-16:00
£100.00-£120.00 per day, self-employed.
