Role: General Assistant - Cleaner
Location: Abbeyfield Wellbrook Way, Girton, Cambridge CB3 0GQ
Hourly Rate: 12.21
Contract: Permanent
Rota: 20 Hours Tuesday – Friday 9.30am – 2.30pm.

This is a varied role, the main tasks of a General Housing Assistant include:

• Ensure communal areas are clean and tidy
• Assist with meal preparation and serving
• Ensuring food stores and maintained with stock rotation
• Promote wellbeing of residents
• Opportunity to cook/bake on occasion to cover Cook (to be discussed further at interview)

Our ideal candidate for General Housing Assistant will have the following qualities

• A cheerful and friendly demeanour
• Understand the needs of older people
• Proactive and organised, someone that takes pride in what they do
