The Barn Cafe' are seeking full-time waiting staff and house keeper to join our small team for the remainder of the season with a provisional start date of14/07/2025.
About Us
We are located in a remote but beautiful part of the North West Highlands at Sands Caravan and Camping in Gairloch, Wester Ross. Just 3 miles off the North Coast 500 route the campsite and cafe are always busy.
The restaurant and on-site takeaway hut are open 7 days a week for coffee and home-baked cakes, cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening drinks. The Barn Cafe is open seasonally (late March - end of October).
About the job
Roles include:
- Serve food and drinks to tables
- Take bookings over the phone
- General bar work
- Use the till system and tablet
- General cleaning of the restaurant
- General housekeeping role around the site
The ideal candidate:
- Confident people-person
- Good team player
- Warm, welcoming and smiley
- Past experience ideal
- Easy-going
- Flexible with work hours (and split shifts)

- £12.25 per hour

- Variable hours but at least 35 and at least 1.5 days off a week
