Storefast Solutions is a dynamic, forward thinking and growing warehousing, contract packing, blending and manufacturing company based in Kent. We are looking to recruit a Forklift Driver to join our Warehouse team.
This role will involve working with a variety of products in warehouse locations within Storefast Solutions and will require a high level of versatility and flexibility.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing a variety of products including ambient, chilled and frozen.
- Checking picked stock prior to dispatch.
- Unloading lorries and containers.
- Banding and wrapping pallets.
- Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Keep products separated and organised.
- Keep all warehouse areas clean and tidy.
- Listen carefully to picking instructions.
- Liaise with the account managers.
- Use of a forklift.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Person Specification:
- Forklift experience essential.
- LGV license desired.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Have a good understanding of English.
- Have a basic knowledge to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
