Job Title: Tiber Football Centre Assistant
Responsible To: Tiber Football Centre Manager
Purpose of the Post
The Football Centre Assistant will ensure the best care and appearance of the 3G pitch and surrounding areas, reception, changing and education rooms and will be responsible for the highest standards of service, with hospitality and welcome being demonstrated at all times.
Main Duties of the Post
Open before bookings and lock up the facilities at the end of matches and sessions as required.
Greet visitors and users of the centre and ensure that they adhere to health & safety, safeguarding and rules of the centre.
Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
Record and or collate user information as required and provide to the Football Centre Manager for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
Answer queries and provide information when needed.
Undertake cleaning throughout the shift, follow and complete check lists of tasks including;
- Litter pick the car park, pitch and surrounding areas
- Clean all toilets and ensure all smell fresh
- Clean all showers and ensure all smell fresh
- Re-stock all toilets and facilities with toilet paper, paper towels and hand wash
- Clean all changing rooms and ensure all smell fresh; clean and close all lockers
- Clean and mop all indoor areas on a daily basis and hoover all carpet areas
- Clean all floor mats
- Arrange room and catering where need for education suite
- Empty all bins
- Wipe all window sills daily and clean inside of windows weekly or as required
- Dust and wipe walls, doors, and table tops, walls to be kept mark free, all doors to be washed down as necessary
Follow procedures for all waste disposal and recycling
Undertake training and assist in using the tractor to regularly brush the 3G pitch on a weekly basis or as required.
Assist in maintaining the tractor
Report any maintenance issues or defects to the Centre Manager.
Complete report to the Football Centre Manager at the end of each shift.
Attend regular supervision meetings.
Understand, support and promote the philosophical and holistic framework of Tiber.
Undertake any other duties deemed to be appropriate by the Project Manager or Board of Trustees

D IT Literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, email, outlook and PowerPoint
Other Requirements
E Must be flexible to work shifts and be available for standby over a 7 day period.
E Commitment to improving Tiber Football Centre and maintaining good quality community facilities
E Drive, self-motivation, commitment and enthusiasm, not easily discouraged
E Willingness to be adaptable and take accountability for own actions

Pay £8.91 per hour
Hours of Work flexible 25 hrs per week

Holidays 28 days pro rata
