Job Summary:
Piazza Italiana, a high-end Italian Restaurant is looking for an experienced Food Runner with a proven track record who can ensure very high standards of our service. If you’re an enthusiastic candidate who loves to deliver exceptional service and serve with passion & pride then we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate should be ready to assist our staff, performing any tasks necessary to improve the dining experience for our customers. Attention will have to be paid to continually improve guest satisfaction. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, great communication skills, ability to prioritize, and a proven work experience (preferably in a large and reputable establishment) in a similar role is essential.
Candidate Profile and Specification:
- delivering food orders from the kitchen to the customers (quickly and accurately);
- removing dirty dishes and cutlery;
- assisting our waiters with table settings;
- ensuring food is served in accordance with Health & Safety rules and regulations;
- follow directions from the management;
- perform all work-related tasks as assigned by the manager;
- communicating food orders to our Chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests.
Key Requirements for the Role:
We are looking for self-motivated high achievers who are passionate about their own job, with multitasking abilities and a strong knowledge of the restaurant operation and processes. The following requirements are essential:
- at least 1 year experience in a similar role;
- positive attitude;
- great communication skills;
- attention to detail and high-quality working standards;
- the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines;
- flexibility (incl. working outside of normal working hours and on weekends);
- right to work in the UK;
- integrity;
