Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines, adhering to food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality output. This position requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of food production processes, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow established procedures for food production, including preparation, cooking, and packaging.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues with equipment and perform basic maintenance as required.
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and any discrepancies encountered.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets while ensuring product quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and recording of production data.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict guidelines consistently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
