As a fast-growing prestigious sustainable wedding venue, we are looking for experienced bar staff to work at our venue. Applicants should have excellent customer service, and a keen interest in the hospitality industry as well as being approachable and friendly. Bar experience is preferable but training will be given.
As an Award-winning Wedding Venue, Hayne House provides high-end customer service to all its guests. You will play a vital part in ensuring a highly professional and warm level of service in front of house at all times.
First-class levels of customer service skills are key, but most importantly you will have a real passion for the hospitality sector and you will be willing to go ‘the extra mile' to ensure our customers have a great and memorable experience with us.
What your job will incorporate;
- Setting up the bar ready for an event
- Cleaning of the bar area
- Setting up and serving reception drinks
- Preparing table drinks
- Preparing and serving cocktails
- Working late nights and mainly weekend work·
- Wearing the correct attire and smartly turned out
Liaising with the duty manager throughout the evening regarding stock and tabs
Adhering to the rules and running of the bar
Ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times
Working as a team player to prevent and resolve potential issues discreetly and efficiently on the night, liaising with the duty manager
Be able to change/move stock throughout your shift
Washing and polishing glasses and ensuring stock is tidied away neatly
· Regularly checking on the venue facilities
· Cashing up the till (training will be given)
We are looking for reliable team players who are highly motivated and with a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn. Ideally, candidates should have a wide knowledge of bar drinks and wines, if you match the below criteria, please apply below;
