Vacancy 1: Mon - Thurs, 07:00 - 19:00, 38.5hrs weekly
Vacancy 2: Mon - Thurs, 19:00 - 07:00, 38.5hrs weekly
4 on 4 shift
Responsibility
In your role as an FLT Driver, you will be working within the Waste and Cleaning team and undertake the operation of Forklift Truck driving within a health and safety conscious environment. Your duties will include loading and unloading pallet trailers, loading cardboard and plastic bales onto trailers, sorting, moving and stacking pallets. In addition to your FLT duties you will also be required to support the across service functions to include the completion of general cleaning duties and provide support to the waste team, full PPE will be provided.
You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure the FLT pre-use checks are completed and logged in accordance with your Rams/training.
- Loading and unloading pallets/bails from trailers.
- Safely operate machinery within training guidelines
- Promptly report any identified problems to your supervisor/manager
- Respond to inquiries by the Site team.
- Assist with any cleaning/waste to assist the cleaning/waste team when required
- Provide a clear and detailed handover to a colleague at the end of every shift
- Attend all required training as required.
- To adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures including all H&S requirements
