Roehampton Club is a multi-sports and social club nestling in leafy South West London next to Richmond Park. Celebrating its 125-year anniversary in 2026, Roehampton Club has developed from its early beginnings as a polo club with croquet lawns to currently housing an immaculate 18-hole parkland golf course, 28 tennis courts including 10 grass courts, 2 padel tennis courts, 6 squash courts and 4 croquet lawns. Our Health Club boasts all year round heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor training space and 2 group exercise studios along with a dedicated spin studio. Our gym has the latest Technogym equipment and an extensive range of cardiovascular, functional, and resistance equipment.

As a Fitness Trainer, you'll inspire, support, and empower our members through your knowledge, enthusiasm, and presence. You’ll help create a safe, motivating, and welcoming environment where both members and colleagues are encouraged to push their limits and be the best versions of themselves.
We believe that our trainers should lead by example by maintaining their own fitness, staying informed on the latest industry trends, and continually developing their skills. Passion, professionalism, and energy are essential qualities in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and programme updates, ensuring all exercise routines are safe, effective, and tailored to individual member goals.
- Deliver Personal Training sessions either on shift or off shift depending on the clients needs.
- Lead group exercise classes depending on qualifications
- Provide ongoing fitness guidance and motivation to members, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness facility at all times.
- Stay current with fitness trends and engage in regular CPD to continually improve professional knowledge and skills.

- Basic IT skills
- Minimum Level 3 Fitness Instructor qualification
Desirable but not necessarily required
- Sporting background
- Extra sport/fitness-based qualifications.
- Previous experience within the role or similar
- Hyrox certified or has competed in Hyrox and similar events
- Experience in Holistic class delivery such as Pilates, Reformer Pilates or Yoga
