Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness & Class Instructor to join our small but dynamic team at our key corporate site in Leavesden. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fitness principles and a commitment to educating clients on proper exercise techniques. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals through tailored workout programmes and motivational support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct group fitness classes, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.
- Conduct one to one personal training sessions
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, anatomy knowledge, and the benefits of physical activity.
- Develop customised fitness programmes based on clients' goals, abilities, and health conditions.
- Monitor clients' progress and provide feedback to help them stay motivated and achieve desired results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fitness area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Stay updated and fully utilise the technology on site.
- Undertake outreach events to promote the gym and wellbeing services on a consistent basis
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology to educate clients effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals or groups.
- Ability to create engaging workout sessions that cater to various fitness levels.
- Strong organisational skills to manage class schedules and client records efficiently.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for promoting health and wellness.

Contract length: 8 months
Pay: From £27,518.00 per year
