At Branded Garden Products we are looking for a Field Based Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price. The position is covering the South ideally in the Exeter area and covering TR,PL,TQ,EX,TA,BS,BA,DT,BH, SP, SN postcodes.

Responsibilities
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company objectives.
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trend to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
- Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear out etc.
- Build constructive customer relationships to build pipeline and close deals.
- Remain up to date with industry best practice.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven working experience in merchandising.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engages, inform and motivate.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.
- Full clean driving licence, as will need to cover region.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00.
