Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fibreglass Laminator to join our dynamic team. This role combines both factory manufacture and on site fibreglass lining of concrete tanks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with fibreglass materials and possess the ability to both manufacture and finish fibreglass products. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the use of both hand and power tools to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Prepare moulds with release agents and gelcoats.
- Fabricate GRP parts using wet hand lay-up and press moulding processes.
- Utilise various power tools and hand tools for the fabrication of fibreglass components.
- Assemble parts according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the process.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Travel to construction sites across the UK to fibreglass line chemical storage tanks. This will require staying away from home to carry out a static water test to the tank the following day.
Experience
- Previous experience in fibreglass laminating and composites manufacturing is essential.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge, with the ability to operate tools effectively.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring all products meet quality standards before completion.
- Full clean driving license required to travel to site in company van.
The exciting role combines both factory manufacture along with site working with an anticipated 80% factory based and 20% site work.

Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
