We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female* Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and hospice environments. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need, with a focus on dignity and respect.
You must have a driving licence and access to a car for this role.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide meal preparation and assistance with feeding when necessary.
- Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with challenging behaviours.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility and comfort.
- Support clients with dementia care, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in health status.
Requirements
- A driving licence and access to a car is required for this role, due to it being community based
- Previous experience in home care, hospice care, or a nursing home setting is preferred.
- A background in nursing or relevant qualifications in health and social care is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
