Family Support Worker
Nottinghamshire County Council's Neurodevelopmental Support Team are seeking to recruit a Family Support Worker to deliver a range of evidence informed parenting groups and programmes to parents whose children are on the neurodevelopmental assessment pathway or already have a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD.
Programmes include New Forest Parenting Programme and Cygnet Parenting alongside several workshops.
The Family Support worker will also provide advice and support to parents at community based Drop-In Clinics at various locations across Nottinghamshire.
All interventions are delivered Countywide and the successful candidate will need to be a qualified driver.
You will have:
- Previous experience of working with families
- An understanding of child development
- Knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity (in particular Autism and ADHD)
- A commitment to excellent customer care
The role is temporary until May 2028.
