Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Role: Full time, hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Events Assistant to support the end-to-end planning and delivery of our events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in event management and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Role – Events Assistant
Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, you will be a confident, motivated, team player that is able to effectively manage your time across multiple projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for events, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude. You’ll gain exposure to all stages of the event lifecycle, including pre-event planning, on-site delivery, and post-event evaluation. You’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships with suppliers, venues, and internal stakeholders, and develop your skills in logistics, communication, and project coordination.
Key Duties - Event Assistant
- Manage the coordination of event logistics, including budget management, venue selection, registration, branding, catering, audiovisual requirements, on-site set-up, travel arrangements, and de-rig.
- Assist the team with our flagship events where needed.
- Maintain event databases and track RSVPs, dietary requirements, and attendee communications.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Provide on-site support during events, including registration, guest assistance, and troubleshooting.
- Help with post-event activities such as feedback collection, reporting, and budget reconciliation.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and support the development of creative event concepts.
Do you have?
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in events (internship, volunteer, or part-time).
