Cleaner (30 Hours per Week) flexible evenings

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Reports to: Reception team
Contract Type: Part-time
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Suggested hours: 4pm-10pm weeknights (we can be flexible on this for the right person)
Job Description:
Due to retirement and restructure, we are seeking a reliable and efficient cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our commercial office spaces and residential common areas in a beautiful historic mill building. You’ll work largely independently to ensure the site remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents, tenants and visitors. This is a long term, employed position.
There will also be an element of customer service, working with our guests, tenants and residents with any queries they may have.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning of communal areas, office spaces, stairwells, corridors, and shared amenities.
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis (e.g. kitchens, washrooms, high-traffic zones).
- Empty bins and manage waste and recycling areas in line with building procedures.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and manage stock with the team
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including correct use of PPE and cleaning materials, and keeping cross contamination in mind.
- Secure spaces when leaving
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
Skills & Experience:
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting preferred, but again for the right person we will consider anyone with a level of cleaning experience.
- Knowledge of COSHH and basic health & safety practices (training will be provided).
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to a schedule.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
