Oxford Castle & Prison, a site immersed in over a thousand years of blood-chilling history, is seeking bold souls to become Seasonal Evening Events Team for our infamous Spooky Tours. This theatrical experience combines comedy, history, and spine-tingling storytelling with special effects and a dash of the unexpected.
As an Evening Events Team Member, you will immerse yourself into the role of one of our costumed scare actors, bringing to life the bygone spirits of Oxford. Support our guiding team in unearthing tales of the morbid and mysterious stories of the city’s most infamous characters, using a mix of dramatic storytelling, and high energy performance skills

- Flexibility- Evening work, late evening on Halloween, rehearsal at least once a week. Must have availability 24.10.25 – 31.10.25 due to the tours/performance running.
Contract: 0 hours a week, fixed term contract (September to October)
Hours: Evening shifts only. Mandatory 4-hour training evenings once a week leading up to event. Event run 24th-31st October.
Salary: £12.60 per hour
