Environmental Health Officer/ Technical/ Senior Technical Officer
Environmental Health Officer, Grade 8, £39,513 to £43,693 per annum
Would you like to broaden your experience within an intelligence led Environmental Health service nationally recognised for its excellence and innovative work?
Are you a qualified, creative thinking Environmental Health Practitioner/ Technical Officer capable of working both in a team and independently in using your professional skills and judgement to help residents, customers and businesses resolve their problems?
If so, we would like to meet you. Within this role you will be working across a wide range of EH work both within and outside Worcestershire and with a range of partners and stakeholders.
We can offer flexible and agile working, a great working environment and will actively encourage you to use your professional judgement and skills to bring about innovative solutions.
We also have a proud record of enforcement with recent landmark, precedent-setting legal cases.
Our challenge is to support all of our businesses to achieve high standards of regulatory compliance and protect and improve the health of our growing population while managing the expectations and demands of both.
Your day will be varied requiring highly developed problem solving and interpersonal skills across all six partner District Councils each with its own unique character. You will be actively involved in our income generation projects giving wide, varied and satisfying experiences beyond our everyday boundaries.
To be successful you should also be able to deal with a wide range of different customers and stakeholders as we are looking to engage with a wide range of partners.
