Who we're looking for
As an Enterprise Solution Architect – Financial Services, you will be a pivotal leader within our technology and professional services practice, bringing deep expertise in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) to help our clients modernise, innovate, and achieve regulatory compliance using the Microsoft technology stack.
You will guide complex engagements from presales and envisioning through to delivery, ensuring exceptional client outcomes while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across banking, insurance, capital markets, and fintech clients.
This role combines strategic architecture leadership with sector-specific insight, influencing our solution portfolio and ensuring our Microsoft-aligned services address the unique challenges of the financial services market — including risk management, regulatory compliance, secure data platforms, and customer-centric digital transformation.
You will act as the primary technical authority and trusted advisor to clients, while also mentoring colleagues and shaping our FSI solution strategy and roadmap.
What you'll be delivering
- Design strategic solutions for financial services clients, aligning enterprise architectures with regulatory, security, and business goals.
- Lead cloud and data transformations using Microsoft technologies, including AI, modern data platforms, and secure collaboration tools.
- Advise on industry trends, offering thought leadership on digital innovation, compliance (e.g., FCA, GDPR), and operational resilience.
- Drive client engagements from opportunity to delivery, ensuring quality outcomes and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Support business development, contributing to bids, proposals, and go-to-market strategies with deep FSI expertise.
- Shape our solution portfolio, collaborating with Microsoft and internal teams to evolve offerings and best practices.
- Champion innovation, evaluating emerging tech and representing the firm at industry events as a financial services architecture expert.
We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following
- Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions in financial services (banking, insurance, capital markets, or fintech).
- Deep knowledge of FSI regulations and their impact on architecture, including data residency, risk controls, and compliance.
- Expertise across Microsoft technologies: Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and security/compliance solutions.
- Trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bridging business and technology strategy in regulated environments.
- Exceptional communicator, skilled at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and delivery skills, with a track record of guiding multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple engagements.
- Certifications preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Admin, TOGAF, or FSI-specific credentials (e.g., CISI, CFA).
