UCL Mathematical and Physical Sciences employs nearly 700 members of academic and technical staff and 128 professional services staff. The Faculty Office is located on the main UCL campus, enjoying the benefits of a central London location. The Faculty Enterprise Coordinator will join the MAPS Operations team in the Faculty Office.

About the role

The Enterprise Coordinator will provide operational support for Innovation and Enterprise (I&E) activities across the Faculty of MAPS, and will act as primary point of contact for staff interested in I&E activities. Working closely with the Vice Dean (I&E) to promote and facilitate enterprising opportunities including project management of the publicity and showcasing of enterprise activities, organising events and seminars to showcase UCL research to potential non-academic partners. The post holder will also develop an understanding of the key elements and requirements of a successful REF Case study and collaborate with academic and professional colleagues to articulate and embed research impact.

Please note this is a fixed-term role until 31st March 2026. This post will be offered as a Secondment to UCL internal candidates.

About you

The post holder will be educated to A level standard (or equivalent) or have acquired equivalent vocational/commercial knowledge and experience of working in this area. They will have a knowledge and understanding of University Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise and of presenting detailed and specialised information to wide range of audiences. The role holder will be able to work independently and on multiple projects at the same time, have excellent time management with experience of event organisation.
