Enterprise Oxfordshire's full time hours for all employees are 4 days a week/30 hours per week. The person who is successful in getting this role will be required to work 7.5 hours a day, Tuesday-Friday.

The successful applicant will be required to travel to schools, events and other venues across Oxfordshire on a regular basis. A valid driving licence and own transport, or alternative suitable methods of travel is required.

Work outside of standard hours including evenings may be required from time to time including attendance and travel to meetings and events.

Candidates must meet criteria to pass enhanced DBS checks.

JOB PURPOSE

Co-ordinates and delivers the Career and Enterprise Company (CEC) and Enterprise Oxfordshire’s ambitions to improve career outcomes for all young people through the work of the Oxfordshire Careers Hub.

Responsible for identifying individual school/college needs; working with senior education leaders, career leaders and Enterprise Advisers to create bespoke school careers plans so that all young people receive a high-quality careers education, including varied experiences of the workplace and information on Apprenticeships and vocational qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Development and promotion of the Oxfordshire Careers Hub Network by supporting a caseload of schools and colleges. Ensure all institutions are matched with an Enterprise Adviser (EA) and that all schools and colleges are self-assessing their careers programme using CEC digital tools, helping to drive the Gatsby Benchmark performance to meet the KPI’s stated in the CEC contract.

Build and maintain effective relationships and lead outcome focused meetings with education leaders in local schools/colleges to ensure progress is being made across all Gatsby benchmarks and all priorities are addressed.

Act as an ambassador for The Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) and Enterprise Oxfordshire including raising the profile of the Hub utilising Enterprise Oxfordshire’s communication and marketing channels to engage with key local stakeholders.

Inform and guide Careers Leaders and senior education leaders on the statutory requirements for careers through training, co-ordination, and promotion of network meetings, for example regional Educational Learning Partnerships. Actions include creating meeting agendas, advising on key careers updates, sourcing guest speakers, and sharing best practice.

As per The CEC reporting cycle, contribute to the monitoring and impact tracking of the Hub, by tracking the progress of schools/colleges (using a variety of tools and resources), identifying trends, gaps, and solutions.

· Cooperate with other Enterprise Oxfordshire departments to achieve good outcomes for our residents, applicants, colleagues, and contractors.

· Attend training courses and complete online training modules as required to meet the requirements of the post.

· Take responsibility for own personal development, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills.

· Undertake any other duties as requested by management which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business.
