We are looking to recruit an Engineering Tutor specialising in Fabrication.

Teaching and Learning
· To develop and deliver the content of the curriculum against a set timetable to a high-quality standard
· Prepare and plan suitable teaching materials, resources and methods to deliver a curriculum that is relevant, challenging and meets the needs of all learners
· Carry out appropriate learner assessments in accordance with programme requirements and awarding organisation expectations
· Regularly check and monitor learner progress giving constructive feedback and setting SMART Targets.
Staff Development and Teaching Expertise
· Work with the relevant managers and Combined Engineering Trade Team to continuously improve the design and delivery of the curriculum keeping it relevant and meeting the needs of industry employers and learners.
· Undertake regular activities and work with staff to improve staff expertise and pedagogy to maintain an outstanding service, including but not limited to, Session Observations and Internal Quality Assurance arrangements

EXPERIENCE
· Experience in delivering Level 2 and Level 3 in your chosen discipline
· Level 3 and above in Engineering discipline
· Possess or be willing to work towards relevant teacher/assessor qualifications.
· Level 2 in Maths or English

We can train you to convert your vocational skills to a teaching role. Hours: Typical working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.15pm.
Salary Range: £30,000-£35,000pa subject to qualification.
