Electro-Mechanical Parts Cleaner / Painter required for immediate start

Job Purpose
To ensure the cleanliness and proper preparation of electro-mechanical components and parts by performing detailed cleaning, degreasing, and inspection procedures in accordance with departmental standards.
This role supports the efficient assembly, maintenance, and repair of equipment by maintaining the integrity and functionality of all cleaned parts.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and Prepare Parts:
Perform manual and automated cleaning of electro-mechanical components using solvents, ultrasonic cleaners, degreasers, and other cleaning equipment as specified by standard operating procedures.
Inspect for Cleanliness and Defects:
Visually inspect cleaned parts to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and are free from damage, corrosion, or other defects.
Handle and Sort Components:
Receive, sort, and organize parts before and after cleaning; ensure proper labelling and storage to maintain traceability and prevent cross-contamination.
Maintain Equipment and Work Area:
Perform routine maintenance on cleaning tools and machines; keep the cleaning station clean, organised, and safe.
Document Work Performed:
Accurately complete cleaning logs, inspection records, and other required documentation for traceability and quality control purposes.
Collaborate with Team Members:
Communicate effectively with engineers, and team leaders to ensure timely and accurate part delivery for assembly or repair.
Follow Safety and Environmental Procedures:
Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely, comply with hazardous material handling guidelines, and properly dispose of waste materials.
Adhere strictly cleaning protocols, safety guidelines, and company quality standards throughout the cleaning process.
Skills and Qualifications
