Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician/ Electricians mate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on social housing ( void/ empty property ) projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out full property rewires.
- Ensuring that all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Carrying out testing and inspection and relevant remedial works.
- Keeping to realistic deadlines.
- liaising with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed each month.
Experience
- Previous job references.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred.
- ECS card compulsory and asbestos awareness preferred (training can be offered).
- 2391 testing and inspection and 18th edition preferred.
