Cascade Camps is a children's multi activity holiday camp provider. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, energetic and friendly Early Years workers to work with us on our camps during Summer 2025. If you have experience working with children in an Early Years setting, apply now!

Job title: Early Years Worker

Reports to: Camp Director. Operations Manager

Overview: Cascade Camps is a family run company that is friendly and lively. We run activity, adventure and sport experiences for children and young people. Our full-time and seasonal staff teams are full of energetic, motivated people who are passionate about what they do.

The ideal person for this role with us will be experienced, confident, outgoing, good-natured, engaging, energetic and highly organised. They should have high levels of customer care as well as safety awareness. They will have excellent communication skills, be attentive to detail, and take safety and fun seriously as well as have an understanding of EYFS.

Job purpose: The role of the Early Years worker is to oversee the delivery of activities in the Cascade Cubs (3-4 year olds) programme whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of the children is always maintained. You will be required to create an exciting, fun and caring environment and deliver outstanding, safe, structured activities, such as: sports, arts and crafts, and free play activities for the Early Years children enrolled on camp – our Cascade CUBS.

The activities offered will follow EYFS requirements for learning and development, with the emphasis being on participation and quality. With support and direction from the Early Years Manager and Camp Director, you will lead the children in activities throughout the day.

Cascade Camps is committed to safe practices in recruitment and selection which includes consideration of issues to do with child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Successful staff applicants will have an Enhanced DBS check, have their references verified and checks completed in line with our Safeguarding & Safer Recruitment Policy.

Salary:

£500 - £550 per week, age, experience and qualification dependent.

Work hours:

8 hours per day (Monday to Friday).
