Overview
We are seeking an early years practitioner who is passionate about sparking curiosity and nurturing a love of nature in young minds. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, creative and nature-loving Outdoor Learning Lead who is willing to embrace the elements and provide endless learning opportunities in the world around us.
You’ll lead daily outdoor learning sessions for our children, delivering exciting, explorative, and awe-inspiring outdoor learning.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Develop and implement engaging outdoor learning activities that promote exploration and creativity in preschool-aged children.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and growth.
- Assess and document children's progress and adapt activities to meet their individual needs.
- Maintain equipment and outdoor spaces to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
What You’ll Need:
- A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Childcare/Early Years – this is essential and must be clearly stated on your application.
- A true passion for nature and outdoor learning.
- Forest School experience or training is desirable – but not essential!
- Bags of energy, imagination and the ability to inspire young children using natural resources

Experience:
- Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred)
