Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, helping them to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
Duties
- Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children in your care.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
- Lead group activities that promote teamwork and social skills among children.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff members to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Drive initiatives that encourage parental involvement in their children's education.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Background in Early Childhood Education or related field is essential.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is mandatory
- Leadership qualities to inspire and guide both children and fellow staff members.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- A genuine passion for nurturing the development of young minds.
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting educational approaches to meet diverse needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- HNC OR SVQ LEVEL 7 Social Services (children and young people) or equivalent.
- 3 Years + Experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.60-£13.00 per hour
