We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a preschool/nursery setting. We are particularly looking for someone with experience in working with children 2-3 years. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage the room environment and a drive to foster the development of young learners. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children aged 2-5 years.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring all children feel safe, valued and included.
- Communicate regularly with parents and care givers regarding the child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and development milestones.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with young children is essential.
- Previous experience in a Pre-school/Nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to mange multiple tasks efficiently maintaining attention to detail
