The setting
kinderzimmer Chelmsford Nursery is a unique and enchanting early childhood haven nestled in a quiet residential area just a short distance from Chelmsford train station and local bus routes. Our 84-place nursery, housed in a characterful detached building across two floors, exudes charm and warmth. The light-flooded rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere for our little learners to explore and thrive. With a separate sandpit for outdoor play and a dedicated kitchen area, we encourage a holistic approach to education, allowing children to not only discover the joy of learning but also to appreciate the world around them. What you will be doing
- Support the nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum, by organising and delivering enjoyable play and activities that encourage the children’s progress towards important developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with a larger team to ensure all necessary day-to-day duties are fulfilled in accordance with the nursery's requirements, such as maintaining cleanliness and preparing rooms.
- Uphold and advance child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding protocols and policies at all times.
- Oversee the children's well-being throughout the day, ensuring their safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish and maintain a constructive, cheerful, and secure environment on a daily basis.
