E-Commerce Sales Person
Your job
In this role the Ecommerce Sales Person will often be the first point of contact the customer has with regards to online ordering, queries and issues.
Duties:
- Delivering excellent customer service and communication through various channels, including email, phone, and online chat, addressing customer enquiries about products, orders, and services.
- Managing and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently from placement to delivery.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the online store, including updating product availability and ensuring accurate product information.
- Proactively reaching out to customers, prospects, and B2B account holders to maximise the growth of the e-commerce platform.
- Liaising with delivery providers, including Royal Mail and private couriers.
- Resolving customer complaints, and managing the return and refunds process in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in an e-commerce sales role is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic and professional telephone manner.
- Experience with BigCommerce or a similar e-commerce platform.
- Able to work using your own initiative within a demanding target driven environment.
Desirable:
- Experience with selling on Amazon, eBay, or other third-party marketplaces.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the legislation related to distance selling (e.g. consumer rights, return policies).
- Experience of our products and industry would be advantageous but not essential.
