Drama Therapist
Mildmay Oaks is looking to recruit a Drama Therapist to join the team. This is a part-time role working 7.5 hours per week.
Set in a semi-rural location in Hook, Hampshire, Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks supports the NHS by providing low secure services and level 2 rehabilitation services for both male and female patients. This includes a specialist learning disability and autism spectrum support.

What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

- Work closely with individuals referred for psychological therapies, using your creative skills to provide specialised assessments alongside fellow therapists, ensuring each person's unique needs are understood and supported.
- Use your clinical insight and interpretive skills to explore complex behaviours and psychological patterns, helping to shape thoughtful, personalised treatment recommendations for people living with moderate to severe mental health conditions.
- Plan, deliver, and continually evaluate tailored drama therapy programmes as part of a multidisciplinary approach—supporting a caseload of service users with varying levels of complexity in their mental health journey.
