Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and safe for all occupants. The Cleaner will work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately, adhering to environmental guidelines.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests or concerns from staff or visitors promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous but not mandatory.
