Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team. As a dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our wondeful clients while providing exceptional grooming services. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any potential health issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
- Handle animals safely and comfortably, ensuring their well-being during the grooming process.
- Lift and manage pets of various sizes, ensuring their safety at all times.
Skills
- Previous settings or animal care is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills to form positive relationships with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality grooming results.
- Patience and compassion when working with animals of varying temperaments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of our small team.

This role includes includes Saturdays on a rotational basis.

Pay: £26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
