Dog Day Care Assistant
Every Monday and Friday 8.45am-5.15pm.
Location: Doggy Doos, End Farm, St Catherine, Bath, BA1 8HE
Do you love dogs, enjoy being outdoors in all weathers, and want a job where every day is full of wagging tails and muddy paws? Doggy Doos is on the lookout for a Dog Day Care Assistant to join our friendly, passionate team on a permanent basis—working 2 days a week.
What the job involves:
- Driving one of our Doggy Doos vans to collect dogs from their homes in the morning and return them in the afternoon (must be confident and safe behind the wheel).
- Walking and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes throughout the day. You will need to be physically fit! Expect 20k steps a day!
- Supporting daily routines including walking, feeding, play, and downtime.
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for the dogs.
- Working as part of a small, dedicated team to ensure every dog has a brilliant day!
You’ll need to:
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence, ideally held for at least 5 years. With no insurance claims.
- Be a minimum age of 25 for the van insurance.
- Be confident driving a van around Bath and the surrounding areas.
- Have hands-on experience with dogs and a good understanding of dog behaviour.
- Be reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to get stuck in—rain or shine!
- Be looking for a long-term, stable position in a fun and rewarding environment.
Hours:
Monday and Friday. 8:45am – 5:15pm
Pay:
£12.50 per hour.
