JOB TITLE: Director - Asset Finance Sales - Senior Origination
LOCATIONS: Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool & Reading
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of your time at one of our office sites.
About This Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Asset Finance Sales Director to join our team. This role involves a combination of managing an existing portfolio of clients and actively securing new business opportunities to drive growth. With a strong regional presence and industry profile, you'll develop strategic relationships and deliver tailored asset finance solutions to Mid Corporate clients (£25m-£100m turnover), playing a crucial role in expanding our client base and delivering impactful financial solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Identifying key prospects through various sources to drive business growth and expand our client base.
  • Fostering strong relationships with existing clients to drive asset finance opportunities and long-term growth.
  • Driving high-volume and high-value asset finance deals, driving Asset Finance transactions annually, securing credit limits and delivering tailored funding solutions.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with coverage colleagues and key business introducers to ensure effective delivery.
  • Leading the structuring of financial solutions and negotiating deals to drive success.

What You’ll Need
  • A proven track record in sales, with the ability to proactively engage new clients, nurture relationships and consistently drive business growth.
  • Extensive experience in credit lending, including the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial statements and write detailed credit reports for presentation to credit committees.
  • Deep expertise in Asset Finance, with a solid grasp of product structures and the ability to craft tailored funding solutions for complex client needs.
  • Validated ability to originate, structure and close high value transactions, showcasing commercial acumen and negotiation finesse.
  • A well established professional network and the capability to use these connections to uncover and develop new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to working across internal teams and external partners.
