Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Backline Staff to manage and coordinate all dine-in and takeaway orders. This back-of-house role is key to ensuring that every meal leaving the kitchen meets our high standards for quality, presentation, and accuracy. You will work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management
- Organize and coordinate dine-in and takeaway orders efficiently.
- Ensure all orders are properly labeled, packed, and handed off in a timely manner.
- Monitor the flow of orders to maintain kitchen organization during busy periods.
- Quality Control
- Check every meal for presentation, portioning, and quality before service or packaging.
- Ensure all food leaves the kitchen hot, fresh, and in accordance with One Love Restaurant standards.
- Collaboration
- Communicate clearly with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with plating and packaging meals to support kitchen workflow.
- Cleanliness & Safety
- Maintain a clean and organized backline area.
- Follow all food hygiene and safety standards.
- Customer Focus
- Handle special requests or modifications accurately.
- Ensure takeaway packaging is secure, neat, and customer-ready.
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or back-of-house experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
