WHAT IS A PRACTICE COORDINATOR?
This is a new role within our practice and replaces the role of “receptionist” to better reflect the value provided by this role.
This role is about coordinating people, processes and patient experiences to play a vital part in how smoothly the practice runs day to day.
A Practice Coordinator’s role is split across two key areas:
▪ WELCOME TEAM – front-of-house, focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences, managing appointments and payments, and being the first point of contact with professionalism and care.
▪ ADMIN TEAM – behind the scenes, responsible for handling calls and emails, keeping patient records up to date, supporting clinicians, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
