Here at Newbank Garden Centre we are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team as a delivery van driver at our garden centre based in Halifax.
The role involves hand loading and transporting of a range of gardening and furniture products to be delivered throughout the North West. In addition warehouse duties will be undertaken when not out delivering goods. We require a good level of customer service with our customers and good communication skills with our offices.
Working hours 9.00am - 5.45pm Monday - Friday
We may require the candidate to work weekends and bank holidays as needed.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver (1 year preferred)
- Full and clean driving licence, held for a minimum of 3 years
- Must be over 25 for insurance
- FLT licence desirable, although not essential
For insurance purposes licences will be fully checked before an offer of employment is confirmed.
