Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver (7.5 Tonne) with CPC Qualification to join our team. The role involves the transportation, loading, and unloading of kitchen / Bedroom units to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver kitchen units to customers, warehouses, or construction sites.
- Load and unload kitchen units manually or using lifting equipment, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, ensuring compliance with road safety and maintenance requirements.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling goods and driving.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries (preferred but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
- Strong communication skills and customer service experience
